Each thread is hand dyed, with hundreds of variegated colours to choose from.
Some variance in colour is expected as the threads are hand dyed in batches, but reds and dark colors should be tested for bleeding. This thread has a matte finish once used, and weighs between a #8 and #12 pearl cotton thread.
For cross stitch, use one strand over two threads, for 24 to 32 count fabrics. For 14-18 count use one strand over one thread.
They come in single-strand skeins of 36 yards (33Meters).
