Welcome to Stitch-it Central — your friendly and welcoming Canadian destination for all things needleart and quilting!

Founded in October 2008 by Maria and her husband Rui (pronouned roo-ee) in their home in St. Thomas, Stitch-it Central has grown and moved a few times before settling in London, Ontario, where we’ve proudly served our community since 2018.

We take great pride in offering a large and carefully curated selection of products, including over 5000 bolts of fabric from many popular brands, plus cross stitch charts and kits, specialty threads, hand-dyed fabrics, beads, and a wide range of needleart and quilting supplies. As a certified Bernina dealer, we provide expert advice and support, with an in-house technician available to keep your machine running smoothly.

In addition to our extensive product selection, we offer custom framing services and professional long arm quilting to help bring your projects to completion.

At Stitch-it Central, our knowledgeable and friendly staff are always here to assist you — whether you’re browsing online or visiting us in-store. We also host needleart and quilting socials where you can drop in, work on projects, share ideas, and connect with fellow makers.

Our store holds a special place in our hearts as we continue to honour the memory of Maria and Rui’s daughter, Cindy, who was tragically lost to a drunk driver. Her spirit inspires our commitment to community and care in everything we do.
