Description
This comprehensive class will show you most of the operations of your unique BERNINA sewing machine. It is an in depth class where both the knowledge of all of the menus, icons and settings involved with your machine will be discussed along with manipulating your stitches so that you can reach your full sewing potential. There will be demos along with opportunity to practise with 2 small projects. If you feel you need help understanding the functions of your machine then this class is for you.
This class is specifically oriented to 4, 5 and 7 series machines.

Cost: The class fee is just $60 per person + materials (see below)
Materials:
- BERNINA Sewing Machine & Manual
- 1/4” foot
- Open Toe Foot #20
- Free motion foot, quilting foot or #10 D (790)
- #10, #10C or 10 D Foot (optional but helpful)
- Chaco liner or erasable marking pen
- 6 x 12” ruler
- Rotary cutter
- 2 pieces of 12 x 12” practise fabric (solids recommended)
- 2 pieces of medium weight fusible stabilizer for practise fabric 12 x 12”
- Decorative Embroidery Thread – 50 wt, 40 wt in various colours

- General sewing supplies
- Robin will bring a small project practise kit for all participants for smallest project
- Measurement for your I Pad or tablet /or bring it with you
- 2 pieces of fabric 10 x14” -I pad pouch backing (solid colour)
- 1 piece of Bosal Foam 10 x 14” or soft and stable
- One piece of medium weight fusible interfacing (sleeve pocket) 14 x 9 ½”
- 2 pieces of fabric (sleeve pocket) 14” x 9 ½”
- Accent fabric strip for sleeve pocket trim 2” x 14”
- Binding fabric to match accent fabric 2 strips width of fabric (42” length) x
- 2 ½” width
- #3 or #5- 7” zipper to match all fabric 14” long. Note: if using zippers on a roll, please don’t forget a zipper pull.
- Decorative and sewing thread to match all fabric, 40 wt. & 50 wt. Machine embroidery thread will also work
