Made from 100% natural cotton, this rope is custom-made in North Carolina, USA, especially for The Mountain Thread Company. For best results, we recommend using a heavy-duty needle and a high-quality 50wt thread for your rope sewing projects.

Please note that this 5/16" rope is slightly thicker than the rope included in The Mountain Thread Company’s DIY kits, but it can be used interchangeably with the kit supplies. If you are looking for the exact rope used in the kits, choose the 3/16" rope instead.

Many sewing machines can handle this thicker rope without any issues; however, it may sew and handle a little differently than the original 3/16" rope.
