Description
Shuttle tatting is a traditional lace-making craft using a small, boat-shaped tool called a shuttle. It is an early form of tatting, creating delicate lace for edgings, doilies, and jewelry and relying on basic double stitches and picots (small loops) to build complex designs.
Participants will learn:
- How to prepare a shuttle and see different types of shuttles
- How to do basic knots, rings, chains and joins
- How to read tatting patterns
- Start a simple project, time and skill permitting

Cost: $22.00 per person + materials (see below)
Supply List:
- 1 - 2 Tatting Shuttles (available in store if needed)
- Notebook/paper
- Pen/pencil, eraser
Location: Stitch-it Central, 1161 Hamilton Road, London, Ontario.
There is a minimum of 4 participants for this class. If we do not have enough students to run the class, you will be notified via email and the cost of the class will be refunded.
