Join us for a community sewing day in support of Quilts of Valour!
Spend the day stitching quilt blocks that will be used to create quilts for Canadian Armed Forces members and veterans touched by war.
Location: Stitch-It Central, 1161 Hamilton Road, London, ON
This is a free event, but registration is required.
Please bring the following (labelled with your name):
- your sewing machine
- ruler
- rotary cutter
- thread
- general sewing supplies and tools
- You’re welcome to bring your own fabric (we’ll also have some available) - this is a great stash buster event! ** If you’re bringing red fabrics, please pre-wash them with a dye catcher.
- Bring a water bottle and snacks, or step out for lunch with fellow participants during the day.
We’ll provide irons and cutting mats in the classrooms for shared use.
Come sew for a great cause - every block helps wrap a Canadian hero in warmth and gratitude!
