Preserving Children

1 grassy field, deep blue sky

4 children, all sizes, bubbling brook

2 dogs, small, hot sun, flowers

Mix children well with dogs, empty into field. Sprinkle with flowers. Pour book gently over pebbles. When children are well browned, remove and set in sudsy tub to soak. Tuck into bed with ample measure of hugs and kisses. Serves all.

Model was stitched on a fat 1/4 yard of 25 ct antique white Lugana over 2 threads with an approximate design size of 8 1/2"w x 12 1/2"h (106w x 155h Stitches). Stitch Diagrams are included for the Ribbon Embroidery embellishments. You'll need two shades of pink and two shades of green 4mm silk ribbon to work the ribbon embroidery flowers, buds and leaves.
