Product Details

Stoney Creek's popular Pattern of the Month continues with the December 2013 design "Live ~ Love" which is now being offered for FREE through December 31st! Please note standard shipping charges apply.

We stitched the the design by itself and displayed it in a medium (4" x 9") whitewash crackle frame and ivory Milano kitchen towel. We also stitched the complete chart as the second installment of a daily inspirations sampler and framed it in a large whitewash crackle frame. Stitch count for "Live ~ Love" is 110w x 35h, approximately 7 3/4" x 2 1/2" on 14ct. Stitch count for the complete series is 200w x 115h, approximately 14 1/4" x 8 1/4" on 14ct. Our model was stitched on 28ct Picture This Plus Cashel "Legacy" Linen over 2 threads. A fat eight cut is perfect for stitcing individual designs. If stitching the complete series a fat quarter will work fine. If looking for a less expensive alternate fabric we would recommend an ivory aida or linen/evenweave. The design is embellished (optional) with three handmade rusty lacy heart buttons. Weeks Dye Works 1272 Tatanka (DMC 3031 sub) and 2200 Kudzo (DMC 3012 sub) are used in addition to DMC colors 640, 712, 738, 739, 918, 926, 927, 977, 3011, 3012, 3013, 3787, 3826 and 3857.

So lovely and easy to stitch! I used DMC colours for the whole thing and did not use any buttons but stitched the little hearts instead and this worked well. I found it to be a very enjoyable project and I am extremely pleased with the end result. I created this as part of an engagement gift and I'm very happy with it - going to purchase the other 5 in the series and looking forward to working on them.
