Dinky Dyes offers 176 beautiful colours in the Silk range and 71 in stranded cotton and perle 5, 8 and 12.
The best quality 6 stranded or perle, 100% cotton thread and 6 stranded spun silk are used as a base product on which to create the wonderfully unique colours found in Dinky - Dyes. The silk is manufactured to Dinky Dyes specifications in Asia. Each stranded skein of cotton and silk is approximately 8m in length and the 5, 8 and 12 perle skeins are 15m in length. These threads are suitable for all kinds of embroidery, cross stitch, hardanger and smocking where a unique and visual pleasing thread is required.
As Dinky - Dyes are hand dyed, dye lots will vary. Every effort is made to ensure consistency in floss colours but inevitably, there will be some subtle differences. It is suggested that you purchase enough threads from the same dyelot to complete your project.
Although most Dinky - Dyes appear to be colourfast they cannot guarantee this, especially with the darker colours.
